Porcelain enamel cookware sets can look extremely pretty in your kitchen, as well as providing pans that heat evenly and quickly, and the Rachael Ray porcelain set is more lightweight than the Paula Deen porcelain set and thus easier to handle.
Here’s what you get in this set:
* two covered saucepans (1 quart and 2 quart)
* one covered saute pan (3 quarts)
* one covered stockpot (6 quarts)
* two skillets (8.5 inch and 10 inch)
The pots are made from aluminum (for rapid heating) and the interior of the pans is coated with a nonstick material (PTFE), while the exterior is coated in a durable porcelain enamel which is easy to clean and which protects the aluminum. The lids are made from clear tempered glass and the handles are coated in silicone which ensures they don’t heat (so you can lift the pans comfortably without getting burnt). All the pans are oven safe to 350F and are made in Thailand.
Please note that you need to hand-wash these (to preserve the nonstick interior) and porcelain pots are not for use on glass-top stoves (as heat will fuse the two materials). You can use them on electric and gass stoves though. This set comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
